I found the instructions were

"I found the instructions were easy enough to follow. All parts were correct and the wood was of good quality. It does take the best part of two days to assemble but the finished result is good and the kids love it. Packaging was damaged but all components were in good order."

Very good

"Very good. My 3 year old loves the slide and swinging bar/ handles. She’s not old enough to use the monkey bars yet. Didn’t believe it would take around 5 hours to build as is advised but it did indeed with two of us who are not new to DIY. Typical a 10% discount was then offered on the site after I’d already purchased as that could have saved a bit. I also didn’t realise before purchase the cost of wood chippings required to adhere to safety guidance- that cost us a few hundred to cover the area of this climbing frame! Would still recommend."

Shame about delivery

"I built this slightly differently from the plans in one long structure. Instructions were easy to follow and the wood was of good quality. The big drawback for me was the delivery company Outdoor toys used DX Delivery. They failed to give me any tracking number or indication of when it would be delivered to make sure I could be in. They then delivered it on 4 different days which meant I couldn’t start building till everything was there. The delivery company also just put them over my gate rather than ringing the bell. They also failed to deliver the slide, which I had to ask repeatedly for it to arrive and when it did it was damaged and I had to request a new one. Which meant the climbing frame didn’t get finished till 3 weeks after the initial delivery. Outdoor toys was great 5 stars and the condition and instructions were brilliant. The delivery company I have never experienced such an awful service. Will be going elsewhere in future just due to this"

Great climbing frame but improvements could be made to the build aspect

"This was bought as a birthday present for my 4 year old. He absolutely loves it and is having the best time creating imaginative games on his climbing frame. 5 stars for his happiness. The delivery came on 2 separate days because the delivery driver told me the weight of the items was too much for one van (we had some extra items not in this photograph like the anchor kit which you have to buy separately) luckily I was home for those two days but it would’ve been a problem if not because you have to sign for it so that’s something to bare in mind! The build itself actually took 3 of us and it took us 7 hours to complete. The instructions are pretty clear and every piece of wood is identified with a W1/W2 etc numbering system along with the measurements for each piece on the instructions. This would’ve been a lot quicker if the wood was also labelled. I’m actually a little baffled that this whole order turns up and not a single piece of wood has a sticker on telling you which piece it is in the instructions. We wasted a lot of time double checking the measurements of some pieces as they were very similar in size to one another to ensure we didn’t then use the wrong piece at the wrong time! This is definitely something that should be improved by the company considering the amount of money it costs. Because of this, I spent most of my time measuring and marking up the pieces of wood whilst my husband and father in law were then drilling and screwing it altogether. We had one piece of wood for the ladder that had a big crack in it but we’ve managed to fix it in the process of the build. Overall we’re very happy with the product and the main thing is my 4 year old loves it. Just be prepared if you buy this product for it to be a long process and multiple pairs of hands are needed!"

Brilliant

"It took a while for delivery but it was expected I did ring about delivery and it does take time to get through to speak to someone (45mins) but once on the phone they were very very helpful and it was delivered quickly after that call. The set itself is brilliant my 6year old loves it!! They did forget to deliver the anchors - mistakes do happen. Again rang (again took a while to speak to someone) after I spoke to someone the anchors was shipped and delivered! - it took two people to build and it took around 4hours that’s with checking everything and setting it up and picking the right spot!"

Good quality frame, very sturdy.

"Good quality frame, very sturdy. Kids age 4 and 7 love it. Would highly recommend. If you dont like diy then i would suggest paying to have it assembled, took 6 hours for us to assemble it."

The neighbourhood park

"We're the first street on a new housing development so there's nothing for the children to do. Since we've bought this climbing frame we've met every child in the street. Beware, buying this will up your ice pole budget tenfold. Smiles all round. My daughter has lots of new pals."

Excellent and strong climbing frame

"We had our climbing frame delivered just before the summer holidays started so they have now had a few weeks of use. They are really solid and our 2 and 5 year old girls always want to go and play on them. We were particularly impressed with the Home Installation Service as our garden slopes downhill with a mainly flat area at the bottom so it required a lot of trips to drop off the items and then it was one of those particularly hot July days but the installer kept persevering in the heat and got it together - sometimes with an audience from our children and the cat!"
