Reviews

Purchased add on slide and platform.

"This is my second purchase from outdoortoys, and I am highly delighted with the quality of the products and service! However I do have to point out that I’m very disappointed with the delivery company they used. I had arranged for the Slide to be delivered to my son’s home as it is a Christmas present for my grandchildren. As my son was not going to be home on the suggested day of delivery, I requested delivery two days later, but they still delivered on the original date! As there was no-one in they just dropped the plastic slide and wood over a 6ft side gate which to me was not acceptable!! Fortunately for the delivery company the products were not damaged."

Nice slide, helps with stability of swing set

"Nice slide, easier to put together than the swing set, which took all day! Makes the slide not wobble so much too! Didn't need the extra ground hooks that were recommended though, which is annoying!"

Add on slide

"Easy to construct and a nice robust addition to the swing"

— stuart g. (5/5)

Excellent and sturdy

"The slide is great and was easy to put together, it looks like a really robust good slide. Excellent for the money as a plastic/metal slide was only £40 cheaper. Few minor quibbles, some of the wood was wet when arrived, this can create problems when it dries out, warping etc. I know it’s an add on so probably sturdier when attached to another item however wish they sold some stakes to anchor it in place when used as a stand alone item. Excellent for my grandson and he loves it."

Great, but a DIY kit

"Very good quality wood. Beware though it is basically a kit form, planks of wood with no pre drilled holes. Clear instructions though. For the cost I would have expected pre drilled holes. It’s ok if you have a bit of DIY skills. Took 2 adults, and a lot of measuring, a hour to put together. Great once put together though."

— Donna E. (4/5)

Self assembly

"Self assembly means no pre-drilled holes and 60+ screws required"

— Michael L. (4/5)

Excellent bit of kit.

"Excellent bit of kit."

Love the idea you can

"Love the idea you can add on and would like to see options for next purchase add ons. Difficult to put together as you even had to drill your own holes! However love the authentic look of it and my 1 year old grandson loves it"

— Kay S. (3/5)

The add on slide we

"The add on slide we bought is very good quality and fits perfectly onto the swing. Easily assembled and looks great. Ordering was simple and delivery was quick. My (nearly) 2 year old grandson loves it, but needs helped up onto the platform. Option of different steps in place of the ladder would be very good."
